Soccer Camp for all!

With all three kids playing soccer this up coming fall, Craig and I wanted to make sure to get them some sort of practice before-hand.   Jackson has been 'taking a break' from soccer and Griffen and Avary haven't been old enough until now to play.  We are very excited to see how it goes.  It should be interesting considering all three will be on different teams......

64 years and counting!

What Things Cost in 1947:

Car: $1,500

Gasoline: 23 cents/gal

House: $13,000

Bread: 12 cents/loaf

Milk: 80 cents/gal

Postage Stamp: 3 cents

Stock Market: 181

Average Annual Salary: $3,500

Minimum Wage: 40 cents per hour

My Nana and Papa celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary last Monday.  How amazing is that?  Most of us Bartletts were able to gather and toast to many more!

 Aren't they cute?!

This also was the first time that Griffen, Avary, Jackson and Craig were able to meet my little cousin, Bella!  She was adopted by my aunt and uncle almost two years ago.  Because of health issues, it has been very important to be germ free so we were finally able to make it happen!  Griffen is singing her a song in the photo above.  Bella just lights up when she hears kids voices, so I'm sure there will be many more visits, playdates and songs sung in the near future!
"Can I get on your shoulders?"

Golf Camp at Teal Bend

Griffen and Avary were lucky enough to be able to take golf lessons as a summer camp this past week.  They were the only two kids, so they had a ton of one on one with both instructors.  They had a great time and learned a lot.  I know Craig is looking forward to getting them both out there with him :)

Watching Mr. Anthony hit the ball.  The other little guy is on of the instructors sons.  He was awesome with these two.

Part of the fun of golf camp is collecting all the balls!
Avary loved doing this!

End of season T-Ball picnic

Well, our first go at t-ball has come and gone.  It was a great season with a great coach and awesome little players!  The league puts on a Little League End of Season Picnic every year to celebrate all the teams!  It was a HOT day full of fun in the sun.  Luckily they had everything from water slides to dunk tanks to snow cones to help keep us cool.

How do you like them trophies?

Their very first trophies!
So exciting :)

"What else you got lucky?"

Avary came to me the other day and asked me to help her make a list.   She wanted to call it, "What else you got lucky?"  So I helped.  I soon realized that it was a list of things I have that she wants.  Too cute!

Our first camping trip of the year!

This weekend we were finally able to use our new trailer!  We went to Lake Oroville.  It was PERFECT!  Everyone had their own space, even though they all three end up being back together again!  I must admit, at times I wouldn't have called it camping.  Our trailer makes everything so comfortable and easy.  Just another reason to get back out there and do it again!

Avary and Jackson doing what they were told, stay out of the way while we set the trailer up!

Griffens forbidden Cheeto fingers.  I hate Cheeto fingers.

 Trying to get comforatable ;)
They didn't have to try to hard.

Learning the rules of the fire pit.
The first night 8 deer came down the hill and went right by our site to eat.
It was awesome!  The kids were amazed.  Avary kept asking if they were real.
Griffen wanted to know if a deer would be friends with a kangaroo.
Ummm.  I don't know.  I've never really thought about it.
Griffen watching one of the deer go back up the hill.

 "S'MORE TIME!!!!"

 Avary helping wash dinner dishes!

 "I wish......"

The kids made this center piece for our dinner table.

The difference of Twin A and Twin B

Griffen and Avary have been studying 'farm life' at school lately.  They learned that pigs 'lub' mud.  Griffens, "lubs it a little, but not too much" and Avarys, "REALLY LUBS it".  She says if you look real close you can see his eyes.
