He did it! Medal Man!



Griffen is half way to the 100 word trophy ceremony!  He was given a medal to mark his accomplishment!

Mothers Day!

Mothers Day morning we headed to a place called Chambers Bay.  It is a beautiful golf course right on the water, just over the bridge from us.  There is a park and a 3 mile loop that we walk/rode/scooted our way around.  It was a sunny day which made it perfect for a stroll.  Ally even got to join us.



Zzzzz-ball, I mean T-ball season has begun! Yawn.......

Ok, let's just get it out there, I am all about the kids having fun, playing sports and meeting new friends.  However, I am not a fan of t-ball.  It has to be the most boring game eeeevvvvveeeerrrr.

Avary plays on the Strikers, pretty much how the game goes, and Griffens team doesn't have a name.  Bad News Bears comes to mind, though.

I've been throwing around the idea, again, to get LASIK.  Especially now that we live in the rain forest.  It's hard to see through drops of rain.  So, Craig and I have been talking about it.  Avary obviously overheard us.  This morning, while getting her ready for school, she starts crying and says, "I'm not trying to be rude, but you are kinda ugly with no glasses.  Please keep them".  Hmmm.  I totally understand that she has 'known' me only to wear them, little does she know that I used to be able to shower with out them.  Now I'm completely torn.

While mommy is away, the rest shall play!

While I was in California, the kids and Craig headed to Vashon Island to hang with the Deines Family. Craig and Jackson even got to go to Jacksons first Seattle Sounders Soccer game! He loved every minute of it. They all had so much fun hanging out and exploring on their nature walks.

I was lucky enough to go back to Northern California to celebrate my 36th Birthday.

Some friends and I had an amazing, relaxing time at a spa all day on Saturday.  Followed up by a yummy dinner!
