The other morning we found Ally asleep like this in the backyard.  I had to wake her up to make sure she was ok, of course after I took a picture ;)



First dentist appointment!

It's no secret, I AM SCARED TO DEATH OF THE DENTIST.  That might have something to do with the reason I waited until the very last minute to take Griffen and Avary for their first appointment.  New(ish) California law says it has to be done before Kindergarten.  I put it off and put it off.  I don't know why though.  They loved it!  They were pros.  From getting x-rays to that nasty tooth cleaning, they were great!  I was the one gagging as they were laying in the chair.

Our Relay for Life Team held our first 'trunk sale' in efforts to raise more money to go towards us reaching our goal.  It was so much fun.  We all donated very gently used/many brand new things, along with some great things from our wonderful friends.  It was a hit!  With the help from the Little Lovelys bake sale, we raised a little under $1000 in just 2 hours!

Jacksons basketball team finished the year on an awesome note!

They made it to the Championships and only lost the game by 2 points.

We ended the day with one of his teammates/buddies at Mels Diner for milkshakes!

Red Tip Achieved!

Jackson received his red tip in karate which means next Saturday he will be promoted to a whole new belt......the Yellow belt!

We will now have two yellow belts in the house!

I feel safe already.

Yes, I went there......

I pulled the "when I was little" card.  This afternoon Griffen was watching Tom and Jerry, imagine that, and was super irritated that there was a commercial.  So I said, "When I was little we had to watch all the commercials."  Griffen turned with a sad look on his face and said, "Oh, that's sad.  I'm sorry."  I am pretty certain that he will never complain about commercials again.
